We are three families blended into one big crazy gang. A widow and a widower, with a total of 6 children between us. We have 4 boys ages 10, 12, 12 and 15 and two girls ages 11 and 13. Life is never boring at our house. We camp, hunt, fish and trap. The kids are into judo, volleyball, basketball, snowsports, baseball and soccer. We are a blend of English and French-Canadian, Italian, Portuguese, First Nations and Vietnamese cultures.
I teach at our local high school. My second career. I am the Law teacher and teach grades 11 and 12 Law and Civics/Careers. I have my yellow belt in judo. I drive a suburban with six kids in it everyday to school. The day starts at 5:45am every day and ends about 9:30pm when I pretty much pass out due to exhaustion.
Christmas this year will be a trip to Mexico on the March break. We plan on getting married there with our children standing up for us. It should be an adventure. The girls have never been on a plane before or swam in the ocean.
